It took me years to understand this concept. Only when I started taking care of my website I noticed how absolutely core typography is. Funny but it is neglected or not considered important by so many, as evidenced by the tsunami of crappy sites out there. I could not find better typography in other platforms.

Next week when the theme debuts, I’ll port over my photography blog which gets about 250k hits/month over to the one and only – Thesis + Pearsonified Skin. I have no website, no desire for a website–I was just surfing around on a new computer and fast connection after years of an outdated Mac and dial-up. Most of the web is too ugly to look at. I haven’t been able to look at the full picture in a long time; had to run ICAB to see anything and then only by not downloading most of the page.

I’ve printed on a hand press so I do have some little feel for typography. I don’t know what a skin is, what a theme is, but I congratulate you on the looks of this page. What a relief after all the junk I’ve seen.
