In reply to John Redding.

John, the Slice of MIT site is using an ancient version of Thesis from 2010, but the design concept in play there is the same as it is with any of our Skins today.

They've taken the basic Thesis design and then applied light customizations on top of it. This is by far the easiest way to build a truly refined, technically superior website.

All of our Skins are perfectly-suited to be the basis for a customized design, but they also provide extensive customization options that make significant modifications possible from the comfort of the WP Admin.

In some cases, the only question is which Skin has a default design that's closest to your desired outcome.

After working with thousands of sites, one thing we know for sure is that customizations of all types require far less custom code (PHP and HTML, specifically) with Thesis Skins versus other WordPress themes.

I subscribe to A Slice of MIT. I receive a copy each day. It uses Thesis.
Does it use one of your skins as a basis - and then tweek it or enhance it? If not, does someone have something similar or can someone quickly come up with something similar? I like its "do-it-all and get-to-it-all and overview-everything on and from page-one" approach. I think I would want to use it it as a child-theme kinda sorta as a landing page.
Many thanks ... and keep rocking !!
