Rumor has it that Cosmo will be out within the month of September; however, I’m hesitant to consider that a definite release time frame.

To borrow the release-date maxim of the phpBB Group, it’ll be done when it’s done. 🙂

Sebastian — Thanks very much! Eric — It doesn't matter whether you own a personal or developer's option for Thesis; the Cosmo promotion only includes a personal option for that theme. Should you choose to upgrade to the Cosmo developer's option, the price on that will be $77 (tentatively). Keishon — I need to take a look at the theme in IE7 tonight, and I'll get back to you on the RSS issue. Bill — The post and page classes do not provide for the ability to have different column structures on different pages of your site (at least not out of the box). Instead, these CSS classes give you the ability to apply custom color schemes, custom background colors, or styles that are unique to a particular post or page. This feature is probably most appealing to advanced users who are comfortable with CSS. Jaan — Cosmo isn't out yet, but when I release it, you'll get a free copy because you purchased Thesis before the sale deadline. Satish — If your site breaks due to XHTML invalidity, please do let me know. Sorry, I couldn't resist :D certifiedbug — Thank you for giving it a chance! Regarding XHTML validity, WordPress itself doesn't even output 100% valid code (ever try using the gallery shortcode?). Seems a bit unreasonable to expect an add-on for an invalid product to itself be valid, especially when validity doesn't really matter. :) Though I agree, in order for Thesis to be as good as it can be, it should be XHTML & CSS valid. I'm amazed Chris still takes the time to check IE 6 for compatibility, so in light of that attention to detail, validity shouldn't be that terrible of a burden to bear for him. :)

I’m also a novice WordPress user, but liked the looks of your theme and paid for it last month. At the time it was said that a new magazine theme would be forthcoming, and I see it now has as Cosmo, does my subscription cover this theme?

I am probably going to upgrade as well, and want to know what would be available for my sites before I set them up with Thesis completely.
