Create two new pages in WordPress (under Pages > Add new), and publish them.
For the purpose of example, we’ll call these “Welcome” (for the front, or Home, page) and “Blog”.
-
Go to Settings > Reading Settings, and under “Front page displays”, click the radio button for
A static page.Select “Welcome” in the first drop down (for
Front page), and select “Blog” in the second one (forPosts page). Save the changes. -
Go to the Thesis Site Options panel, and expand the “Select pages to include in nav menu” section (under Navigation Menu).
In the list of pages, make sure that “Welcome” is not checked, and “Blog” is checked. Save the changes.
Note: Your “Welcome” page will automatically appear as the first tab on your nav menu, and that tab will be named “Home”. You can rename this tab, if you wish, in the “Home Link” section (also located under Navigation Menu on the Site Options panel).
