I'd like to customize it per post, page, and category index.
I'd also like to use a mix of images and videos. Somebody left a comment on how to customize the rotating_images.php file to accomplish this, but I'm waiting to see what happens in .4 before I do to much of my own customization. |

Defining images per post or page may be possible with T1 and custom keys. Looking over the options page, there is mention made of an "image" custom key that can be used. Although I'm not certain (and this will probably wait until Chris writes his explainer) it appears that it is possible to use the "image" custom field and specify a certain image in the key.

I just tested the custom keyword "image" and it works just as I thought. If you want a specific image to appear in the multimedia box alongside your post or page, just specify the path (I used the media uploader in WP2.5.1). Works beautifully.

unsomnambulist: It's pretty easy. When posting, in the Custom Fields area, select from the drop-down or enter "image" as the Key, and for the Value put the full URL to an image, whether on your server (uploaded via the WordPress Image uploader or FTP or whatever) or elsewhere. Press the "Add custom Field" button and then save the post, and you should have a specific image now for that post in the Thesis sidebar.
