(More) granular menu item control

The new thesis with the crazy cool dashboard is great except in one respect: I've been using the nav_items to do two things I can no longer do:

1) style an individual tab with a different color (like your "get thesis" nav item in the demo site)
2) use a post as a tab (I can do this by adding a custom link, but then it doesn't change color correctly when you navigate to the page, which apparently offends my senses, because I refuse to do it).

Building in some way to add custom styling for the links (a little "add any custom CSS" next to the link checkboxes) might allow for this.

Just a thought - not a necessity!

1. Each menu link has it's own specific class you can style, it'll be something like "page-item-10"

2. Using "Additional Links", I can't see any way of properly styling this as it doesn't append any Class Tags onto the links, I can think of two ways you can do it:

It might work if you have this post in 2 categorys, its normal one, and one where its by itself. Then link the menu to that new category too (which has the same name as the post) and just have the post showing in full by itself in the category.

Or just copy and paste the post into a "Page" entry like static pages should be used
