Wp-Premiums has added MindTweaks to the theme showcase, joining SimpleMom, WildKeys, and Modernnomics. It's funny how much I feel like we're part of a team - there's even a way to rate your favorites there.

I'm not sure if you're asking about how to offer subscription by email, or how I coded the link itself, so here's my best attempt at both answers.

1. The email subscription itself is powered by Feedburner. Sign up with them, and you'll find some easy to follow directions about how to set up email subscriptions.

2. I created a real mess in my header getting that link and my tagline where I wanted them, so there's no easy way to explain it...

If you want to try to create it without the rest of my mess? Add the link to the header php, create a new css class for it, then play around with the float: right; and/or text-align: right; properties.

Sorry I can't be more specific... I just looked back at the code myself and shuddered. (I think it might well give Chris nightmares)

Ha, all of these custom coding issues give me nightmares, but I'm trying to accommodate a majority of them in the options panel in future releases. Ideally, Thesis users will be able to make a wide array of customizations without ever touching a template file or line of code.


The next release will get us all one step closer to that goal.

Chis, I can only imagine the headaches involved in producing code clean enough for a premium theme... It's a bit embarrassing when people ask how I did something and I have to say "Um.... I don't remember and I can't read my own code."

I just finished my customisation of Thesis and have also been added to the WP-Premium Themes showcase. Very exciting!

I'm honoured to be in such good company - I think most of the credit belongs to the awesome theme we all have to work with and the ease with which the customisations are possible.

It's great seeing how people have put their own personal touches on it. I love the fact that this theme can be so popular, yet the sites all look so different.
